Care For A Clean Pty Ltd (ABN 60 691 342 720) is a cleaning business servicing the Gold Coast and surrounds. This policy explains how we handle personal information about our clients, enquirers, job applicants and website visitors.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Where we deliver services under a Department of Veterans' Affairs arrangement, those principles and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme apply to that work in full.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, suburb, the service you are interested in and anything you choose to write in a message
- Client details we need to do the work and invoice for it, including your address, access arrangements, schedule and billing details
- Job application details you provide, and for people we employ, the records employment law requires
- Website usage information collected automatically, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and how you reached the site
How we use it
To quote, schedule and deliver cleaning, invoice and take payment, keep in touch with you about your service, run recruitment and employment, meet our legal obligations, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies to count visits and measure advertising. We do not use them to identify you personally. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings without affecting your use of the site. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to run the business: with the team members working on your job, with the software providers we use for email, invoicing, payroll and scheduling, with the head provider where we deliver services under a DVA arrangement, and with our insurers or professional advisers where a claim or legal obligation requires it. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
How we keep it
We hold personal information only as long as we need it, and for as long as tax, employment and other laws require. Access is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Every team member is police checked before they start and is bound by confidentiality as a condition of employment.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we are required to keep it. Email hello@careforaclean.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
